HUMOURS OF THE AGE
This is an interesting dance. It starts with a steady three beats to be bar (A and B music) then goes into a jig (C and D music). Playford calls for each strain of the Jig to be played twice, but only provides enough dance steps for the final 16 bars to be played once. For a 3-couple version, which gives the 2s and 3s more to do, see Humours of the New Age.
